Cagayan State University (CSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This higher education institution does not have a selective admission policy. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Its outstanding performance in licensure exams for fields like Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Veterinary Medicine among others have helped establish its reputation as an outstanding institution for learning. This allows the institution to bridge the gap between their research work and the application of the new knowledge gained.
